July 13, 2017

On a mission to bring honest, pissed-off music to the world, Long Island, New York's STRAY FROM THE PATH have returned with the follow up to 2015's "Subliminal Criminals", aptly titled "Only Death Is Real", which comes out worldwide on Friday, September 8 via Sumerian Records. The band returned to Will Putney who recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered the band's sixth full-length studio album at Graphic Nature Audio out of Belleville, New Jersey with additional vocal production from Jesse Barnett of STICK TO YOUR GUNS. Guest appearances on "Only Death Is Real" come from Keith Buckley of EVERY TIME I DIE and THE DAMNED THINGS, KNOCKED LOOSE's Bryan Garris, and hip-hop celebrity Vinnie Paz of JEDI MIND TRICKS.

Different pre-orders options for only death is real are now live with the album available on CD, vinyl, and digital formats, with other options like box sets, merch, and posters also being available. Check out the different selections here.

In support of "Only Death Is Real", STRAY FROM THE PATH will head up to Canada with co-headliners COUNTERPARTS, kicking things off on September 14 in Quebec City at Salle Multi, with the tour wrapping up on September 30 at The Gateway At Sait in Calgary. Joining STRAY FROM THE PATH and COUNTERPARTS are COMEBACK KID and GIDEON. The band then travels overseas to start their headlining tour that commences on October 10 at the infamous Underworld in London and concludes in Portugal at RCA Club on November 5.
